“While the Cuban regime represses his people, the dictator Maduro continues to send it resources to continue its repression. The oil shipments sent by Maduro to Cuba from January to July 2021 totaled 10.7 million barrels to date, the equivalent to 502 million U.S. dollars,’ said Mr. Vecchio through his Twitter account.

The diplomat of the Interim Government of President Juan Guaidó made it clear that once again it is clear that international sanctions are not what prevents Maduro from solving the crisis and meeting the needs of Venezuelans, but the corrupt dictatorship that he has established in Venezuela.

“While the people of Venezuela are in a queue, Maduro sends Cuba approximately 60 thousand barrels a day of oil products (gasoline, diesel and fuel oil). Since 2020 Maduro has sent more oil to Cuba than the value of the stored (Venezuelan) gold in London. It is not the sanctions, it is the dictatorship.”
