The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, thanked the Government of Chile for hosting, as a guest, the national political coordinator of ‘Voluntad Popular’ and former Mayor, Emilio Graterón.

The national president explained that this measure in defense of Graterón’s human rights was possible thanks to the request made by the Legitimate Government.
In addition, President in Charge Guaidó specified that Graterón has been one of the targets of persecution by Nicolás Maduro’s criminal regime in its attack against the democratic alternative.
On the occasion of the protection granted to the political leader of ‘Voluntad Popular’, President Piñera’s administration condemned the existence of political prisoners in the hands of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship in Venezuela.
