Los vecinos de Wambrechies (norte de Francia) rindieron tributo hoy con una marcha a la adolescente de 13 años Angélique Six, asesinada supuestamente por un hombre que fue condenado en 1996 por la violación de otra menor de 15 años.

El asesino confeso, un padre de familia de 45 años y antiguo vecino de la víctima, fue imputado y encarcelado anoche por secuestro, violación y asesinato.

La marcha, en la que la gente iba vestida de blanco o llevaba rosas blancas, reunió a cerca de 3.300 personas, según los medios locales, y se detuvo en la plaza en la que la niña fue secuestrada, cerca de su casa.





El suceso ha tenido amplia repercusión desde este fin de semana, cuando se supo que Six, desaparecida desde el 25 de abril, había sido asesinada.

El fiscal de Lille (norte), Thierry Pocquet, detalló ayer que el sospechoso violó a la niña y después la estranguló.

El hombre, detenido el sábado por la noche, había tomado píldoras para la erección y bebido cerveza horas antes de su encuentro con la preadolescente, a la que engañó diciéndole que tenía que darle un paquete para sus padres.

El sospechoso trabajaba como conductor para una empresa de autobuses de la zona de Lille y en 1996 fue castigado a nueve años de prisión por violación con arma a un menor de 15 años y por agresiones sexuales cometidas sobre dos mujeres de unos cuarenta años.

Desde que salió de la prisión en 2000, no fue sometido a un seguimiento psicológico porque la ley entonces vigente en Francia no lo contemplaba, aunque sí estaba inscrito en el fichero judicial nacional de delincuentes sexuales. EFE
